Polyethylene

Polyethylene is a very versatile engineering plastic which is used in many applications including construction and machine components. The three standard grades of polyethylene are:

PE1000 (UHMWPE)

PE500 (HMWPE)

PE300 (HDPE)

Polyethylene offers good wear and abrasion resistance, excellent chemical resistance, high impact strength, good electrical insulation, lightweight and excellent machinability.

Its applications include packaging material, mechanical construction, chopping boards, electrical insulation as well as being FDA approves for food contact.
